I just wanted to update, since I never do.

It’s my birthday. Yay!

A week, well almost 2 weeks ago on a Saturday, with our church, I helped paint a house for an older lady in a low-income area. She was so sweet. She cooked us all breakfast while we painted her little 700 sq ft house. It was great and she was so happy. I love our church because they are commited to doing good things for others.

Today Jessica and I visited a doctor and learned that everything is functional in the repro. dept. So we’ll just keep working on it. Hopefully we’ll have a new Kelso on the way before we even know it and Team Kelso will have a new member.

Speaking of our church, I’ve been playing guitar more lately. Once the regular musicians are back from summer tours, I’m sure I’ll play a little less often. It’s been great though. I’ve been singing the harmonies, which I love to sing and harmonize.

We are also taking classes to become foster parents. Of course, if Jessica gets pregnant, we’ll have to put it on hold. We really want to help needy children though. If you know either of us very well, you know that we have a deep love and a huge heart for people, especially children, who are in need. There are so many people in this world who are in need merely because they were born in a certain part of the world or to a certain family. Children have no control and I will always love them and want to see them have hope.
