I’ve had a busy couple of months. Lately, I’ve been working on a new podcast called Freedom and Liberty. I’m really excited about it. We’ve finished 2 shows so far which you can listen to on the site. I’ll warn you, it’s a political show. If you don’t like that kind of stuff, you may want to skip it. The host of the show is my friend Jared. We met several months ago and I frequently read his political rants on Facebook. We always seemed to agree on most everything. I have wanted to do a podcast for a long time. I thought about doing a tech podcast with my Jet The Nerd site (which I’ve currently put on hold). I don’t have anyone else to talk tech with so I passed on that. A friend actually mentioned once in regards to Jared, “man, someone needs to give that guy his own talk show.” I immediately sent Jared a message that simply stated “Political Podcast, interested?” We started planning and now we’re full speed ahead. We’re not putting it out there (itunes and other podcast listings) until we have at least 5 shows under our belt. We’re still getting our feet wet. We’ve got a lot of ideas though.

If you read Jessica’s blog, you can see some of the other things that have kept us busy. I’ve actually got a small tech job tonight (virus cleanup or something). I haven’t been doing much with computers lately and I should have said no to this one. I didn’t think about it but my brother and his family are here from Nashville and I wish we could go see them tonight. But I committed myself to help this lady, so I will. She’s a friend of a friend and she seems very nice. Hopefully it’s quick and easy but they rarely ever are.

Work has been great. Very busy, especially with State Farm pulling their homeowners insurance from Florida. We’ve got a lot of great companies so I’ve had a fair amount of business lately. That’s one of the reasons I’ve not written much in my blog. When I get home at night, I just want to chill out and not be on the computer. I’m also in the processes of transferring my domain over to a new hosting company. It’s been a little bit of a process which I won’t go into too much detail. Hopefully we’ll have that done before too long though. Once we have that done, our site should be at its final location.

Well, I’ve got a few things to finish before I leave for the day. I’m taking most of this week off to spend time with my brother, sister-in-law and nephews. Oh and of course I’m going to the tax day tea party on Wednesday!
