I'm so glad the medicine is kicking in for you and that you are feeling better. I felt so horrible to find you guys sleeping on the couch that first morning. It reminded me of a night Kris and I had at someone's house. I vowed I would never make anyone that miserable at my house...and there you were...miserable. I know I couldn't have helped that your shoulder was hurting and though I wasn't glad for you, I was glad the misery wasn't entirely my fault. We still enjoyed having you, regardless of your bummer status. :) Hopefully your next trip up will be pain free.

I know Kevin would probably smack me for saying this, but I loved being home for a few months before and during my first pregnancy. It allowed me to do some of the things I knew I wouldn't be able to do with a baby around and during pregnancy it allowed me to feel sick and tired on my own time and not someone else's. I took a nap everyday at 2:00 and felt refreshed by the time Kris got home instead of so tired I was useless.

I usually feed them every other day. I've only actually had two die in the past year and a half. . . but I'm just really over having fish. (Besides the big tank that Kevin takes care of! I love those guys haha) That's a great idea to keep treated water handy. I should be doing that. Truthfully, I just have these cute shadow boxes I want to hang up instead!

Sorry to hear you're having Betta troubles. How often do you feed them? I feed mine like once every two days and they seem to do alright. And I just keep a pitcher of treated water next to the bowl to keep fish's water full. I'd adopt your fish if I lived close enough to bring it home. Darn the fifteen hour drive!

It sounds like you are going to have a really nice productive week! I hope you are successful in finding a job that you like!

I'm so sorry Jessica, I hope that this is not a setback but rather a beginning to something more fun, more interesting and more prosperous. God is certainly still in control and though it was a surprise to you, it wasn't to Him.

Mmmm. Rice Krispy Treats.

So...has Kevin tried the nail polish yet?

I'm glad you are liking your church. What a difference it can make when you feel like you belong.

I had a friend who said he wished there were horn options. A special horn noise for when you want to just say..."hey...the light is green now...do you mind driving?" Another horn for, "THAT WAS SO NOT COOL WHAT YOU JUST DID!" And yet another for "I'm not mad at you but could you please not use my lane until I've passed you?"

I used to have more rage but I've really had to be more careful with kids in the car. The worst thing I would say was "You IDIOT!" which isn't that horrible until you hear your three year old say it. Blech!
